Driver self check-in introduced at Lidl Schweiz depots
In short
Delivery drivers now check themselves in at Lidl Schweiz distribution centres using a time-slot number. Delivery documents can be scanned at the terminal or uploaded beforehand by suppliers in Transportplanner. Driver lounges are already available in Weinfelden and Sévaz, with Derendingen following from mid-September 2026.
What it means for suppliers
- Provide delivery drivers with the time-slot number needed for terminal check-in.
- Upload delivery documents in Transportplanner before arrival, or arrange for drivers to scan them at the terminal.
- Inform carriers that terminal and SMS instructions are provided in each driver’s native language.
