How many units a product sells per store per week, counting only stores that sell it.

Why it matters

Retailers compare rate of sale across products to decide what stays at the range review. It separates true demand from the effect of wide distribution.

How to calculate

Units sold ÷ (number of stores selling the product × number of weeks).
