On-shelf availability (OSA)
The share of time, or of store checks, in which a product is actually on the shelf and available to buy.
Why it matters
A listed product that isn't on the shelf sells nothing. Low availability also hurts the rate of sale the retailer uses at range reviews.
How to calculate
Store checks where the product was on the shelf ÷ total store checks × 100.
